Grader Shims

Circle Wear Management

Circle Wear Management Systems - Grader Shims

The principal of the Circle Wear Management System is a set of custom developed shims. These allow the grader circle to remain at manufacture's specifications but remove any slack or movement in the circle due to normal wearing of the wear pads.

As we all know civil contractors are only allowing minimal tolerances on final trim, these shims are simple and effective in maintaining John Deere grader circles to these tolerances. When wear is evident then either a 1mm or a .7mm shim or a combination of both can be inserted behind the wear pad to fill the gap, generally this can be done by the operator eliminating costly fitter callouts.

When your wear pads are finally worn out and all the shims have been used it is a simple operation to replace the pads; simply pull worn pads and shims out, store the shims for reuse and replace the pads. All the while the circle has not been adjusted so is still centred.

"I have 27 John Deere Graders to keep maintained ranging from 670D to 770GP .I have been using shims from Circle Wear Management Systems for the adjustment on the circle groups.
This cut circle adjustment times in half and getting better wear from your guides also keeping your circle running true.
Very happy with these shims thanks circle wear management "
